What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Run a sales territory with traditional and digital broadcasting clients, including extensive travel to clients and trade shows
- Deliver high-level presentations effectively communicating the value of proposed solutions to potential clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle
- Shape overall sales strategy by providing insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure a cohesive and seamless customer experience
What is Required (Qualifications):
- In-depth knowledge of the media industry and related sales processes
- Business development experience with new and existing customers
- Ability to apply expertise in a complex sales environment to service large accounts and complicated business segments
- Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging with senior-level executives
- Accountability for personal work and a desire to provide guidance to new team members
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in technology sales with SAS knowledge preferred
- Ability to quickly build rapport with customers and adapt messaging based on customer needs
- Proven problem-solving skills using analysis and multiple sources of information
- Desire to stay updated with emerging market trends and customer needs
- Experience in contributing to thought leadership initiatives, such as writing articles or speaking at industry conferences
