      Are you ready to leave your mark on the Distributor Sales organisation in Copenhagen? Do you want to develop Arla’s business prospects within a highly commercial Distributor Sales organisation and region working with global brands as Lurpak and Castello?

      We are looking for a new Export Manager based in our office in Copenhagen to develop and manage selected markets within the Latin American market cluster.

      About the organization

      The Distributor Sales organisation manages a wide range of markets across the world from Latin America, Sub Sahara Africa, Eastern Europe, Balkan etc. in an organisation of around 40 commercial and dedicated colleagues in Sales, Sales support, Marketing and Product Management functions.

      We focus on selling Arla’s well-known global brands within milk powder, cheese, butter, milk and cream - both in retail and in food service channels. As the title indicates, you will manage and be responsible for best-in-class sales in our export markets. More specifically:

      • You drive the commercial agenda and activities that build our brands and support sales targets. In close cooperation with our distributors you plan sales activities, prepare exact forecasts, manage price calculations and plan order flow.
      • You will have a broad and daily contact with distributors and customers in Latin America, and their level of satisfaction and development is the measure of your success.
      • You can foresee a key role in an interesting and challenging market and should expect 50-60 yearly travel days from your base in Copenhagen.

After a thorough introduction to the business, you will have own PnL responsibility, drive and develop the growth agenda, selling our Brands in your own distributor markets aligned with the overall objectives of the Distributor organisation and Distributor Partners.

      You will report to a senior role in the Distributor Sales organisation and work closely with team Members in Marketing, Product Management and our Sales Facilitators.

      On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to:

      • Manage and develop your own Customers & Business Area/ market Cluster (5-8 customers)
      • Identify and onboard new distributors in the region
      • Collaborate closely with multifunction’s on driving market and customer analyses to identify opportunities.

      About you

      • You have a high-level education and specialisation within business administration, commerce or an equivalent area complemented with 5+ years of experience exporting FMCG products.
      • Moreover, you are comfortable maneuvering in an international and multi-cultural setting where the social, cultural and working standards are quite different from what you are used to. This calls for personal integrity and a strong sense of occasion combined with the ability to interpret different cultures.
      • You are a pioneering figure who thrives on working under absolutely productive conditions. Being in a market that foresees strong growth prospects challenges and fascinates you.
      • Lastly, you must be proficient in written and spoken English and Spanish. Furthermore, you have strong communicational, financial and IT skills.
