What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify and assist potentially eligible recipients with the enrollment process into government health programs and Qualified Health Plans
- Conduct interviews and provide education on managed care programs and enrollment requirements
- Gather necessary documentation and assist clients in selecting appropriate health plans and primary care physicians
- Maintain professional relationships with community agencies and external partners involved in enrollment activities
- Participate in community outreach projects and attend health fairs and events as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of one year of experience working with State and Federal Health Insurance programs
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong presentation abilities
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid NYS driver's license with no restrictions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's degree (AA/AS)
- Previous experience as a Marketplace Facilitated Enroller
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
