What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitate project meetings with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and documentation
- Schedule and prepare for meetings, including drafting agendas and tracking action items
- Plan and support workshops and events with various partners, accommodating in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats
- Manage logistics for multiple concurrent meetings, ensuring all technical needs are met
- Take detailed notes and provide documentation for all meetings and events promptly
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Forestry, Emergency Management, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in coordination, facilitation, project support, or related work
- Strong facilitation skills with experience leading meetings and collaborative sessions
- Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with federal land management agencies or in disaster recovery operations
- Familiarity with audiovisual equipment and online meeting platforms
- Strong problem-solving mindset with adaptability to changing project needs
