      The role of the Facility Manager is to ensure the proper operation of all aspects of a facility. The Facility Manager must lead, establish, operate, and maintain a comprehensive Facility Management program, which allows the organization to manage and oversee the 24/7 Operations and Maintenance of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire-life-safety, and structural building systems and equipment. The Facility Manager will coordinate the operational aspects of the property in a manner which protects, maintains, and improves the value of the client's assets.

      Process Management

      • Proactively manage all facility services in accordance with JLL account and client standard processes and procedures, ensuring superior customer satisfaction.
      • Establish and maintain a safety-first culture by promoting and driving safe work practices timely training, best practices as well as delivering rewards and recognitions to promote safe behavior.
      • Manage all assigned facilities to achieve the highest level KPI performance targets.
      • Develop, track and implement team processes and goals to proactively achieve and exceed contractual KPIs.
      • Execute and activate emergency protocols during critical equipment downtime
      • Lead / assist in site incident investigation, utilize structure problem solving to identify root cause of failures.
      • Develop, track and implement savings and value initiatives and document reporting of these initiatives
      • Utilize data to develop trends and insights that will drive continuous improvement in the site performance.

      Relationship Management

      • Primary interface with client representatives.
      • Collaborates and seeks out and understands the expectations, needs, perspectives, and motivations of the client
      • Ensures delivery of committed services and overall satisfaction with JLL performance.
      • Conduct formal and informal relationship meetings with the client and stakeholders
      • Develop and maintain a high performance team including hiring, talent and succession planning, manager and individual development planning.
      • Manage team to optimal levels of client quality assurance goals and expectations
      • Lead teams with inspiration to drive effective solutions with urgency

      Compliance

      • Accountable for the accuracy and timely updates to all systems data utilized for the account process, procedures and metrics supporting IFM.
      • Inspect buildings’ physical plant routinely to guarantee that building services are at the highest level of quality standards.
      • Life Cycle Asset Maintenance – ensure all critical equipment PM’s are completed as per schedule
      • Ensure compliance by completing all related training, Action Items/Audit Responses, and ensuring that all critical PMs are completed on time
      • Ensure all safety, environmental, and standards are strictly adhered to within managed facilities
      • Ensure compliance with portfolio wide initiatives and required local, state and federal laws and regulations that pertain to the operating of facilities

      Education/training

      • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
      • HVAC or Mechanical Engineering degree preferred

      Skills/Experience

      • 5+ year’s facility management experience and people management
      • CFM, CPM, RPA or CSM designation is a plus.
      • Experience in managing Maintenance and Critical Environment Technicians, preferably in industrial/manufacturing environment.
      • Demonstrated experience in managing 24 / 7 operations in a fast-paced work environment.
      • Familiarity with and understanding of building systems.
      • Ability to multitask and work without direct supervision.
      • Excellent prioritization and conflict resolution.
      • Proficient in and experience with CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook).
      • Strong interpersonal skills and problem solving ability
      • Excellent verbal / written communication and presentation skills
      • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
      • Knowledge of standard business and accounting practices
      • Knowledge of Excel and ability to analyze data
