 What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
 - Oversee facility design and construction services for County departments, providing recommendations on facility projects
 - Develop project master plans and implement them through reviews, cost estimates, and construction
 - Ensure compliance with plans and specifications of construction contracts by supervising inspections
 - Establish project priorities and schedules for timely completion of construction projects
 - Represent the County in community meetings and maintain knowledge of professional practices
 What is Required (Qualifications):
 - Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
 - Minimum three (3) years of professional architectural or engineering planning, design, or construction experience
 - One (1) year of lead, management, or project management experience
 - Licensed to practice as a Registered Architect (R.A.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas
 - Valid Texas Driver's License
 How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
 - Experience in building design and construction/remodeling project management
 - Knowledge of computer-aided drafting and design (CAD) methods and techniques
 - Familiarity with project management principles, including scheduling and budgeting
 - Strong problem-solving and technical decision-making skills
 - Ability to communicate complex technical issues in simple terms
