What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist the Facilities Manager by supervising facility aspects of restaurant management at the market level
- Perform facility maintenance and repairs through monthly site visits and analysis of restaurants
- Formulate preventative maintenance schedules for the safe and efficient operation of restaurant facilities
- Train managers and staff on facility maintenance practices and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Conduct detailed maintenance recaps and communicate facility issues to the appropriate teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong trade knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, commercial cooking equipment, and basic HVAC/refrigeration
- Knowledge of regulations governing facilities safety requirements
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple schedules for timely results
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report for travel between restaurants
- B.A./B.S. in a related field or equivalent experience with two years of training in facility maintenance
