What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Contact members with delinquent Fannie Mae (FNMA) loans by phone, mail, and email; take appropriate action to bring current
- Analyze financial situations of delinquent borrowers; offer and process workout options
- Complete monthly FNMA delinquency reporting and provide management with observations, trends, and recommendations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Fannie Mae guidelines and communicate changes to the team
- Provide informed, professional, and accurate service and support to all internal and external members
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Solid knowledge of Fannie Mae guidelines, mortgage lending, and collections
- Two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school
- Two to five years of experience in collections, mortgage lending, and compliance desired
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
