- Designs, develops and is accountable for feature delivery
- Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality
- Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt
- Guides the team on work breakdown and execution
- Works with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria
- Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team
- Guides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices)
- 5+ years’ experience in leading the enterprise implementation and scaling og Astronomer/Airflow across multiple LOBs
- 5+ years’ experience with batch processing with both on prem and cloud tools such as Airflow, Autosys.
- Should be able to Setup/Configure/upgrade secure agents
- Gather requirements from application team and make sure necessary license options are enabled in IICS.
- Able to lead multiple scrum teams and deliver major enterprise roll outs. Architecture experience with large initiatives.
- Project setup(including folder creation, connection creation, creation and assignment of necessary roles and permissions.
- Experience in working with Azure cloud services like AD Code migration of assets between Organizations
- Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining multiple CICD pipelines across multiple Orgs and SubOrgs.
- Knowledge with various replication mechanisms and data availability across S3, local and NAS storage.
- Troubleshoot issues with agent/IICS environment, raise vendor case, work with Astronomer vendor if needed.
- Must have experience in Incident management, Service Request, Change management and Problem Management.
- Automate and monitor utilizations and take necessary actions to remediate bottlenecks. Knowledge with Operational Insights is preferable.
- Must have experience handling performance issues, code optimization and be able to mentor development teams with best practices.
- Good to have experience working in a shared services environment.
