      The purpose of this role is to manage Federal Government Proposals and related assignments. The Proposal Specialist is responsible for coordinating with Sales, Legal, Compliance and other Subject Matter Experts to identify, develop, and deliver each proposal in accordance with government regulations and within requested specifications. This includes review and knowledge of federal government terms and conditions, bid package preparation, submission, and the award process. The Proposal Specialist ensures adherence to published policies and procedures including detailed documentation in the designated Bid & Contract Tracking Repositories for all proposals as well as new and amended contracts. Proposal Specialist will provide extensive Contract Comparison Analysis for new/conversion opportunities and Proposal Specialist will manage the seamless transition of Bid Awards to the appropriate Onboarding Team.

      Key Responsibilities:

      1. Own and manage federal opportunities from RFI, Sources Sought, and/or RFP/Solicitation stage through Award Process

      2. Process all other documents requiring review of terms and conditions, operational requirements and/or requiring signature for government customers including, but not limited to, quotes with terms and conditions, certifications, purchase orders with terms and conditions, etc.

      3. Process all government customer forms that may require collaboration with other subject matter experts and review of terms and conditions, if applicable.

      4. Maintain and update the central repositories for all opportunities, addendum's, renewals, and expirations

      5. Work collaboratively with all departments to increase our success with bid opportunities and support internal initiatives to improve our value proposition in the government space.

      Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

      • 2+ years relevant experience in government bids, proposals, and contracts 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience

      Critical Skills:

      • Proposal and/or government contract terms experience with knowledge of contract terms and conditions

      • Experience in comprehensive proposal analysis and development with Government Proposal experience

      • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

      Additional Knowledge & Skills:

      • Demonstrated professional communication skills (both oral and written)

      • Knowledge of Healthcare Distribution Operations

      • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

      • Excellent writing/editing skills; ability to communicate at all levels of the organization

      • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and work independently

      • Intermediate to Advanced Experience with Microsoft © Word and Outlook

      • Experience with Microsoft © Excel and Adobe Acrobat preferred

      Working Conditions:

      • Environment (Office, warehouse, etc.) - Office

      • Physical Requirements (Lifting, standing, etc.) - Normal office requirements - significant computer work, meetings

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

      Our Base Pay Range for this position

      $56,900 - $94,800
