What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the development of FEMA Qualification System (FQS) training courses, including course materials, instructional plans, and assessment tools
- Collaborate independently with clients to build relationships and identify opportunities to add value
- Apply instructional systems design experience to create industry-leading training solutions in emergency response
- Contribute to a positive team culture by engaging in 360-degree feedback and ownership of tasks
- Ensure all project work adheres to contractual requirements while maintaining timelines and budgets
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional systems design
- Experience in government consulting or professional service delivery
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage timelines effectively
- Excellent communication, writing, and complex group facilitation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with FEMA and/or the FEMA Qualification System
- Proficiency with industry-leading eLearning software
- Master’s degree in public administration, business administration, or a related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
