What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist fiber optic technicians with installation, splicing, and testing of fiber optic cables
- Support field setup, tool preparation, and job site organization
- Learn and follow fiber optic safety standards and technical procedures
- Help troubleshoot connectivity issues and perform basic testing
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with supervisors and team members
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Minimum of one (1) year of fiber optic field experience
- Personal computer with reliable internet access for virtual training
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Willingness to agree to a background check
- Willingness to agree to a drug test
- Ability to attend and complete all required training sessions
- Willingness to work outdoors and in varying environments
