- Assist with on-site project coordination, including setup and breakdown of job sites.
- Perform daily site walks to check progress and safety compliance.
- Take and organize site photos and notes for reporting and documentation.
- Assist in preparing daily field reports, timesheets, and other logs.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors as needed.
- Support community outreach efforts.
- Maintain and organize project documentation.
- Help enforce safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions.
- Run errands or pick up supplies when necessary.
- Act as a visual observer to support drone pilots.
- Support the operations lead and project manager with other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required, relevant coursework or certifications a plus.
- 1+ year of experience in construction or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology.
- Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, computer and basic office software (e.g., Excel, Word, Google Drive).
- Ability to read simple construction drawings or site plans is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor environments.
- Primarily field-based, with exposure to various weather conditions, and active construction zones.
- Ability to sit/ stand for up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to move freely for up to 8 hours per day.

Overview
The Field Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of utility electric pole inspections by assisting field teams with logistical, administrative, and coordination tasks. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth site operations, safety, community outreach, and accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-based environment. The duration of this project is 6 to 8 weeks.

Wage Data Per State Requirements
Hourly rate for this position is $25.00 - $35.00. The starting rate will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
