What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide comprehensive pre- and post-sales support for opportunities requiring Field Sales Engineer involvement in the territory
- Execute high-level system designs including site surveys, camera placement, and bandwidth calculations
- Collaborate effectively across multiple departments to meet performance goals
- Deliver technology and customer-specific training as needed
- Attend industry trade shows and represent the employer at events
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent skills-based training in an electronic field trade
- Minimum of 4 years of security industry experience, preferably in a customer-facing pre-sales role
- Strong knowledge of physical security and IT markets, including troubleshooting advanced network issues
- Proficient in networking concepts (TCP/IP, Routers, Switches, etc.) and video transport protocols
- Excellent technical writing and presentation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Axis Certified Professional certification
- Experience in design documentation skills, including schematics and flow charts
- Proven ability to convey complex technologies and specifications easily
- Strong public speaking and presentation capabilities
- Positive customer-centric attitude
