What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive sales at customer sites through product placement, promotional selling, and effective display of merchandise
- Conduct inventory counts and reconcile orders for customer accounts
- Maintain product quality and freshness on shelves by rotating products and checking code dates
- Deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to company policies and procedures
- Communicate with warehouse personnel and manage daily schedules across assigned territory
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience in sales or related field, with perishable experience preferred for certain areas
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and basic math skills
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with adequate automobile liability coverage
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with food distribution or retail sales
- Knowledge of inventory management systems
- Strong time management skills for handling multiple customer accounts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
