What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide in-field technical support for installation, commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting of pumps and related rotating equipment
- Conduct on-site inspections and repairs utilizing a company service truck
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and customer personnel as required
- Complete formal technical field reports, time sheets, and expense reports for each field assignment
- Communicate daily with the Field Service Manager/Sales Associate regarding site issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a machining/repair environment with a proven track record
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Vocational/Technical Degree preferred
- Extensive experience with rotating equipment, pump mechanics, and hydraulics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues with rotating equipment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in repairing multiple types of pumps regardless of manufacturer
- Ability to cross-train and provide leadership to Field Service Technicians
- Proficient in relevant PC skills and documentation practices
- Strong planning, organization, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
