What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide in-field technical support for installation, commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting of pumps and related rotating equipment
- Complete on-site inspections and repairs using company service truck
- Conduct safety meetings as required by customers and company standards
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and customer personnel during field assignments
- Document field assignments through formal technical reports, time sheets, and expense reports
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a machining/repair environment with demonstrated contributions
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Vocational/Technical Degree preferred
- Extensive experience with rotating equipment, pump mechanics, and hydraulics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with diverse clients
- Strong troubleshooting skills for in-depth issues with rotating equipment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Vocational/Technical Degree in a relevant field
- Experience repairing multiple types of manufactured pumps
- Proven leadership skills to cross-train and guide Field Service Technicians
- Proficiency in relevant PC skills
- Ability to produce clear and concise documentation
