What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure the integrity of financial and statistical data through general ledger entries, reports, and analysis
- Provide support to finance analysts and leadership in a team environment
- Communicate and present information to various audiences
- Develop complex management financial information using reporting tools
- Interpret and apply finance and accounting policies and procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience in accounting or finance for Accounting or Finance degree holders
- Minimum of 5 years of applicable accounting or finance experience for other business-related bachelor's degrees
- Highly developed understanding of accounting and finance practices
- Highly developed knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in accounting or finance, MBA, MHA, CPA (active or inactive), CMA, or CIA
- Knowledge of large accounting and/or grant management systems
