Job Description

- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely bookkeeping.
- Assist in processing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Perform reconciliations of bank statements, ledgers, and expense reports.
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reimbursements, and petty cash records.
- Support payroll processing, including tax deductions and benefits administration.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and corporate laws.
- Support tax filings (sales tax, withholding tax, etc.) and liaise with regulatory bodies as needed.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and assist in audit preparations.
- Support the Finance and Accounts Specialist in monitoring budgets and forecasts.
- Track expenses and assist in variance analysis.
- Work closely with HR for payroll, employee reimbursements, and benefits administration.
- Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
- Support special projects as assigned by the Finance and Accounts Specialist or Head of Finance.
- Assist in system improvements and process enhancements to increase efficiency.
- Qualifications: ACCA (Part-qualified / Qualified) / ACMA / Finance Graduate / Masters.
- Experience: 0-3 years of experience in finance and accounting roles.
- Technical Skills: Decent command over MS Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, SUMIFS, etc.) is preferred.
- Knowledge of Accounting Standards: Understanding of IFRSs, tax laws, and financial reporting principles.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus.
- Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy in financial transactions.
- Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify inefficiencies and suggest process improvements.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy in financial records and transactions.
- Knowledge of IFRSs: Understanding of financial reporting standards.
- Good Documentation Skills: Ability to maintain organized records and audit trails.
- Knack for Financial Process Improvement: Identifying inefficiencies and suggesting process enhancements.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret financial data for insights.

We are looking for a Finance and Accounts Executive to support our finance team in handling day-to-day financial tasks, bookkeeping, and compliance. This role will report to the Finance and Accounts Specialist and will be an essential part of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.
