      Responsibilities:

      • Responsible for monthly analysis, consolidation, and reporting of US Commercial Risks and Opportunities to management.

      • Responsible for U.S. Commercial P&L in Hyperion, including key drivers of variances across Product P&L’s and reconciliation of forecasts to product finance storylines.

      • Understand business fundamentals and review/challenge US Commercial business earnings projections to ensure ‘closest to the pin’ forecasts.

      • Partner with product finance leads to develop and update KPIs to provide key insights to management to drive fundamental business decisions.

      • Develop strong understanding of business drivers of core medical and specialty products to become finance partner of choice.

      • Actively support the quarterly BFO projection process through production of the BFO package, supplemental exhibits, and underlying supporting documents.

      • Actively partner with Accounting, Product Finance, Local Market BFOs, and Buyer Group Finance Leads to inform membership & earnings forecasts for US Commercial earnings.

      • Lead the US Commercial capital planning process through effective partnering with key stakeholders and analysis of legal entity results.

      • Partner with FP&A counterparts in other Cigna growth platforms to support key deliverables.

      • Support ad-hoc Financial/Accounting requests and key projects for senior leadership.

      • Manage efficiency improvements of current & new processes to provide enhanced insights.

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelors in Finance, Accounting or related field

      • 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting or equivalent business experience

      • Experience managing projections and presenting results to executives

      • Comfortable working with variety of matrix partners with diverse objectives

      • Experience with finance database reporting systems preferred (Hyperion)

      • Understanding of Financial Reporting hierarchies for U.S. Commercial preferred

      • Understanding of implementing or maintaining internal control processes to maintain reporting accuracy and consistency

      If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

      For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 89,300 - 148,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

      This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
