      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting for various departmental activities
      - Provide procurement support and assist in developing the department's annual budget
      - Oversee financial aspects of voter-approved bonds and capital projects
      - Prepare financial statements and standardized reports
      - Perform other job-related duties as assigned

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a directly related field
      - Minimum of three (3) years of professional financial analysis or accounting experience
      - Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial practices
      - Proficiency in financial reporting and budgeting processes
      - Strong analytical and communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Valid Texas Driver's License
      - Experience with accounts payable and/or receivable
      - Familiarity with fund accounting and developing contracts
      - Knowledge of automated financial systems and software
      - Background in capital project financial management
