      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct accounting-based research, ensuring compliance with GAAP, GASB regulations, and BARS manual
      - Develop the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) in collaboration with the accounting team
      - Process and analyze large sets of data to assist in decision-making
      - Provide training and guidance to less experienced employees in accounting procedures
      - Monitor and oversee daily operations of assigned accounting functions, ensuring effective workflow

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
      - Five years of professional experience in accounting or a related field, preferably in the public sector
      - Ability to maintain deadlines and prioritize competing tasks
      - Strong written and oral communication skills for explaining and resolving complex accounting issues
      - Experience in developing process improvements based on data analysis

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with governmental/fund accounting practices
      - Familiarity with financial reporting and analysis for decision-making
      - Advanced proficiency in Excel and data management tools
      - Previous experience in a public sector finance role
