What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with preparing standard financial reports and supporting schedules under supervision
- Help gather and organize data for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Prepare basic monthly reports and assist with monitoring key financial metrics
- Support the finance team in ad hoc analysis, data validation, and project tasks
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 1-2 years of related experience (internship or entry-level finance/accounting role preferred)
- Basic knowledge of financial principles and data analysis
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in standard software applications, including the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience or exposure to Deltek Costpoint
- Previous experience working with Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs)
- Previous government contracting experience
