      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop and maintain research budgets, monitoring expenses for compliance with relevant policies
      - Serve as the primary liaison for research activities between departments and schools
      - Collaborate with Principal Investigators to facilitate proposal preparation and development
      - Analyze grant financial reports, budgets, and forecasts as directed
      - Identify best practices and technology to enhance grant processes and ensure improvement

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or a related field
      - At least 2 years of relevant work experience in research finance or grant management
      - Understanding of NIH and other federal agencies' policies and procedures
      - Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
      - Excellent communication skills for effective interaction at all institutional levels

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of pre/post-award research work experience, emphasizing pre-award
      - Working knowledge of Excel, specifically Pivot Tables
      - Progressive development of data analysis and evaluation skills
      - Ability to make decisions with minimal guidance
      - Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions
