      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Coordinate the development of the District budget and publish budget guidelines and calendars
      - Conduct financial analyses and prepare annual reports and audited financial statements
      - Support water and sewer rate analysis and monitor adherence to financial reporting requirements
      - Assist with year-end closing and audit activities, including preparation of necessary schedules
      - Respond to requests for specialized information from internal and external customers

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or a related field
      - Financial Analyst I: One (1) year of increasingly responsible experience in financial record preparation and analysis
      - Financial Analyst II: Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in financial record preparation and analysis, including budget development
      - Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and governmental budget management
      - Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and establish effective working relationships

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with automated accounting systems and business software applications, particularly spreadsheet software
      - Familiarity with District and governmental financial reporting requirements
