What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in analyzing Bills of Materials (BOMs) to develop product costs, including raw materials, labor, overhead, and tooling
- Build financial models with price/cost sensitivity to inform pricing strategies
- Prepare customer quote packages, detailing pricing structures and tooling breakdowns
- Track program margins from launch to completion, identifying variances from quoted targets
- Support the development and maintenance of sales forecasts and budgets for assigned products
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Four-year college degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in a relevant role
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and basic financial modeling
- Foundational financial and analytical skills, including exposure to make-vs-buy analysis
- Good communication skills for effective team collaboration
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in product costing or manufacturing environments
- Exposure to the automotive industry
- Foreign language skills in Spanish
