Job Description

- Accurately process financial transactions such as invoices, payments, credits, and adjustments
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding billing and payment inquiries
- Facilitate urgent financial requests such as payment escalations or invoice corrections
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports for management and stakeholders
- Exhibit advanced proficiency with financial systems, tools, workflows, and processes
- Drive continuous improvement in financial workflows, controls, and reporting accuracy
- Liaise with finance, accounting, and operational teams for timely resolution of issues
- Develop, implement, and optimize financial processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms
- Review and interpret ongoing financial reporting requirements
- Research and analyze financial data to support decision-making
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial regulations
- Perform other duties as requested
- 2-5 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, financial analysis, or related roles
- Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel (advanced preferred), and financial/ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
- Ability to work in a matrix organizational environment and collaborate across departments seamlessly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage shifting priorities, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with high energy and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, demands, and timelines
- Interest in leveraging technology and innovation to improve financial processes
- Ability to occasionally travel for meetings or training, 0%-5%
- Strong ability to adapt, evolve, and drive process improvements
- MUST be a team player, able to work collaboratively and positively at all times
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an acceptable combination of education and experience

Financial Operations Specialist
The Financial Operations Specialist position supports the internal day-to-day financial activities to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of the organization's financial operations. This key position will work collaboratively with Finance, Accounting, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless processing and reconciliation of financial data, while supporting billing, invoicing, and reporting processes across the full financial lifecycle. Operating as a workflow specialist between operational and finance teams, the Financial Operations Specialist will monitor for discrepancies, identify efficiencies, and ensure data integrity and proper prioritization of financial transactions.
