What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including cost allocation, billing, and expense tracking
- Prepare regular financial reports and dashboards for leadership, highlighting spend trends and optimization opportunities
- Partner with Engineering and DevOps teams to monitor and optimize cloud usage and infrastructure spend
- Support vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, and renewals while maintaining accurate records
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance financial efficiency and compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in financial operations, FinOps, or similar roles
- Strong understanding of cloud cost management (AWS, GCP, Azure) and SaaS financial tracking
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with BI or financial tools is a plus
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- FinOps certification or training (e.g., FinOps Foundation Practitioner)
- Experience working in a SaaS, fintech, or technology-driven environment
- Familiarity with cost allocation methodologies and multi-cloud strategies
