What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform entry-level financial review and analysis of accounting data for various regions
- Review payment vouchers for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policies
- Approve payment vouchers in the TRAINS system and communicate with originating offices
- Validate purchase card transactions for compliance and authorize transactions
- Provide customer service regarding payment processes and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Knowledge of GAAP and federal/state regulations
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies
- Strong attention to detail and compliance with financial policies
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a financial or accounting role
- Familiarity with financial systems such as TRAINS or PCMS
- Background in customer service within a professional setting
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
