What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and query data in databases, utilizing programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL
- Conduct statistical analysis, interpret results, and present findings to management and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain custom queries and financial reports for various stakeholders
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards that integrate relevant data for stakeholders
- Communicate complex technical information in non-technical terms, both in writing and verbally
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field (Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration) or equivalent industry certification
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and analyze significant amounts of information quickly
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse backgrounds
- Experience with business intelligence tools and report builders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's Degree or higher in a relevant field (Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration) or equivalent industry certifications
- Experience in a government or education setting
- Experience working within a finance or accounting department
- Business intelligence/reporting experience (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) with 3+ years of experience
- Azure Cloud experience
