What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking of supplies
- Gather and review patient medical history and relevant health updates for providers
- Take vitals, perform blood draws, administer injections, and assist with medical procedures
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individual patient care plans
- Handle front desk duties including patient scheduling, medical record management, and coordination of referrals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care
- Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related field
- National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration, as required
- CPR/BLS certification required by the start date
- Preferred phlebotomy experience

- Previous experience in a Float Medical Assistant role or similar positions that require adaptability to various locations
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Experience in a primary care environment, showcasing familiarity with patient care processes
