      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide in-store food safety support to enhance compliance and food safety culture
      - Apply in-depth knowledge of food-handling, pest control, chemical, and audit programs
      - Maintain collaborative relationships with store leaders and operational area leaders
      - Act as a liaison between stores and regulatory agencies
      - Assist with new store launches and participate in an after-hours & weekend on-call rotation

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field
      - 2 to 6 years of experience in food safety compliance related to food retailing or food processing
      - Knowledge of retail food code and regulations governing grocery retail at local, state, and federal levels
      - Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely
      - Maintain or obtain NEHA Certified Professional – Food Safety (CP-FS) or Registered Environmental Health Specialist / Registered Sanitarian (REHS/RS)

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Relevant experience in retail operations or retail food safety management
      - Demonstrated success in teaching or training others
      - Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
