- Prepare and serve food for hospital patients, employees, physicians and guests.
- Prepares grill items and serves on various stations in cafeteria.
- Prepares cold food items for patient areas as described in standards.
- Maintain adequate supply of items required for salad bar, patient and unit stocking.
- 2+ years of previous food service or healthcare experience; equivalent education and experience may be considered
- High School diploma or GED
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification
- Strong communication skills; ability to read, write and speak English
- Basic computer skills

The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for leading the daily work assignments performed in the Nutrition Services department including food preparation and delivery, catering, sanitation and stocking. This is a working position and requires the ability to train and orient new staff. Responsible for following Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Safe Handling Guidelines regarding food safety and sanitation. Will provide excellent customer services when working with patients, visitors and other staff members. The Nutrition Svcs Lead may perform work in one or more of the following areas: barista, cashiering, dishwashing, floor stock, food preparation, meal assembly and service, meal deliver, sanitation, tray collection.
