What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with the leadership team to identify hiring priorities and strategies
- Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of candidates including engineers, product managers, and designers
- Implement creative sourcing strategies utilizing networks, events, and communities
- Understand candidate motivations and startup dynamics to attract top talent
- Provide a high-touch candidate experience from initial outreach through the hiring process
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4 years of technical recruiting experience with direct startup experience
- Strong communication and research skills with the ability to craft compelling outreach messages
- Highly organized and resourceful, thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to identify and attract top talent within the tech industry
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in building recruiting processes and strategies from scratch
- Familiarity with the NYC tech scene and its top talent pools
- Passion for recruiting as a craft and understanding of startup dynamics
