Job Description

- Develop and implement financial planning processes, reporting, and analytical tools for budgeting, forecasting, and short-term and long-term strategic and financial plans
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and track progress with key performance indicators (KPIs) and create management reports and dashboards to monitor business performance and to support decision making across the enterprise
- Collaborate with Human Resources on Compensation and Headcount planning, providing analytics, modeling, forecasting and reporting to support data-driven hiring and ensuring efficient allocation of resources
- Assist with the development of the Annual Budget and periodic forecasts and variance analysis
- Assist in preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
- Review existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts
- Communicate results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations
- Assist in the preparation of various Committee and Board materials
- Other projects/work as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Advanced excel skills and the ability to build, understand, and follow complex models
- Proficient in data modeling, data mining, econometric, and statistical procedures
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- A willingness to take ownership of the role and ability to partner with senior management to understand their needs and drive solutions from start to finish
- Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a small team on a day-to-day basis
- Detail oriented and analytically savvy
- Capable of preparing and delivering accurate and logical presentations
- Financial services experience preferred
- Normal office environment/ desk assignment
- Extensive use of PC's, computer terminal, display, keyboard, and mouse
- Extensive hands-on work with documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and other written documents

SUMMARY:
The FP&A Manager is part of our Finance department and will be primarily focused on data analytics, preparing and validating financial models in Excel and Power BI, supporting ad-hoc financial analysis, and acting as a key resource within the department. The successful FP&A Manager must be willing to learn, a highly motivated self-starter, and open to absorbing the nuances of managing and analyzing large data sets to draw meaningful conclusions. In addition to an exceptional analytical skillset, this FP&A position also requires an aptitude for financial analysis, accounting, and forecasting.
