What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Welcome customers, answer questions, and provide friendly, professional service
- Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise
- Replenish stock on shelves and maintain inventory levels
- Process orders and deliveries accurately to meet customer expectations
- Cross-train in various departments to enhance customer service delivery
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6 months experience using a computer for information management
- At least 6 months experience with common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to perform duties requiring prolonged standing and lifting
- Capability to lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with accommodation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience
- Bilingual skills
- Certification in a trade related to the department (e.g., plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden)
