Job Description
- Req#: 3054
- Manages conversion project to ensure deadlines and assignments are met in accordance to project plan.
- Execute discovery process of current GDS overall processes in conjunction with business model.
- Test interface between Worldspan to Trams in contrast with new GDS being implemented Travelport+ and Trams.
- Responsible for managing all aspects of the GDS relationship including providing information to the leadership team and colleagues; service issues; and technical problem solving.
- Self-train on new GDS with the objective to be the liaison and facilitate training to 20~ air booking advisors.
- Troubleshooting on the go with air booking advisors during transition.
- Performs ad hoc analysis.
- Produces reports as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 5+ years of travel industry experience required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Trams back-office knowledge.
- Must be proficient with GDS, specifically Worldspan.
- Galileo exposure a plus.
- Must be able to work independently and handle multiple assignments at the same time.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite is a must.
Overview
Incumbent will work closely with employees and vendor to convert from Worldspan or Amadeus to new GDS Travelport+/Galileo. GDS Analyst will be responsible for testing, generating reports and ad hoc analysis. This candidate will proudly own the training methodology and conversion of our GDS with the collaboration of the existing talented Air / GDS team.
The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas. Many factors, such as years of experience, geographical location, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company's financial goal achievement and individual performance.
