- have a history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, a Hands-On- Manager who is a Coach and Mentor.
- proven success managing large dining operations and budgets - experience in University Dining or other high volume dining.
- have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance.
- can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service.
- prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed, and
- demonstrate working knowledge of Food Management Systemd and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.
- have oversight of day-to-day operations;
- deliver high quality food service;
- achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
- develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
- develop strategic plans;
- create a positive environment; and/or
- ensure Sodexo standards are met.

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 4 for The South Dakota School of Mines and Technology located in Rapid City, SD - overseeing day to day dining operations including Student Dining - HardRocker Cafe, multiple food retail operations (Einstein's Bagels, Miner's Shack (C Store) and Campus Catering and concessions. Located in the beautiful Black Hills and Badlands of western South Dakota, home to iconic natural wonders, rich history, and unforgettable adventures.
