JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing budgets and financial plans and controlling expenditureOversees hotel operations under the direction of the General ManagerEnsures overall guest satisfaction to drive brand metricsEnsures compliance with brand standardsMaintaining statistical and financial recordsSetting and achieving sales and profit targetsRecruiting, training, and monitoring staffPlanning work schedules for individuals and teamsMeeting and greeting customersDealing with customer complaints and commentsAddressing problems and troubleshootingEnsuring events and conferences run smoothlySupervising maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishingsDealing with contractors and suppliersEnsuring security is effectiveCarrying out inspections of property and servicesEnsuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulationsPerform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectivesEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two (2) years' experience as an Assistant General ManagerBachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or Business preferred.KNO WLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writingDemonstrated ability to lead a teamExcellent attention to detailFinancial savvyProficient in Microsoft Office* The hiring process may consist of a phone interview, manager(s) interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment.
