      The General Manager is accountable for the success of the facility measured by growth and profitability. It is the general manager’s responsibility to ensure strategic goals are met by setting operational policies, creating and maintaining budgets, managing employees, and more. Our desired candidate is an adept leader with a strong business mind and a knack for organization, collaboration, and team member development.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Ensure plans for daily activities are developed and executed.
      • Analyze performance and financial data to measure growth and profitability.
      • Ensure each department is properly staffed and trained.
      • Ensure the physical plant exceeds guest expectations (e.g. cleanliness, aesthetics, systems)
      • Monitor budget
      • Coordinates with other departments (e.g. human resources, finance, sales/marketing) to ensure the property is able to achieve its goals
      • Ensure departments are contributing efficiently to the overall goals of the property.
      • Ensure annual budgets are submitted in accordance with company policy.
      • Responsible for the conduct of all property employees.
      • Ensures appropriate disciplinary action is taken when required.
      • Performs other related duties as required by the corporate office.

      • Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set property goals.

      • Proven success in a managerial role.

      • Proficient in Google Suite or similar software.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or combination of formal/informal and related field required.
      • Five years of related experience required.
      • Must be able to work irregular shifts to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
      • Experience in conducting performance evaluations is preferred.
      • Working knowledge of human-resources processes is preferred.

      WORK ENVIRONMENT
      The General Manager normally performs their duties in a temperature and humidity-controlled environment. Occasional exposure to ambient outside weather conditions is required when performing daily inspections of the property and grounds.
