What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research, collect, and compile geospatial data from various sources
- Edit, update, and maintain GIS datasets while adhering to strict data schemas
- Generate maps, dashboards, and web applications for project data visualization
- Provide technical support and guidance to GIS Technicians and Engineers
- Conduct QA/QC reviews to ensure data accuracy and integrity
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geospatial Sciences, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of GIS experience, preferably in engineering, utilities, or telecommunications
- Familiarity with spatial analysis, geoprocessing tools, and data modeling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with automation and process improvement in GIS workflows
- Proven ability to balance high-level project objectives with detailed technical execution
- Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure data and mapping technologies
