What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute a strategic sales vision for GIS solutions aligned with market trends
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in priority K–12 markets
- Lead end-to-end sales efforts including lead generation, proposal development, and contract negotiation
- Serve as a trusted advisor to K–12 clients, understanding their needs and positioning GIS solutions effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and high-quality outcomes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within K–12 education, GIS, or education technology
- Strong understanding of K–12 school district structures and decision-making processes
- Proven ability to lead complex, consultative sales pursuits from opportunity identification to contract close
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with GIS solutions and their application within K–12 environments
- Existing relationships or contacts within K–12 school districts or education technology networks
- Experience supporting proposal development and finalist presentations
- Experience representing organizations at conferences or industry events
