You provide input into the design of clinical development programs so that evidence needs for HTA are considered within the global development and commercialization strategies
You identify evidence gaps and possible data sources, design and implement evidence-generation plans
You ensure that the HTA evidentiary activities are strategically aligned with other functions within Global Access and the wider organization (affiliates, Product Development, commercial and others)
You lead or contribute to cross-functional teams within a matrix structure
You plan and conduct health economic and/or statistical analyses on clinical trial data and other relevant data sources under the consideration of the input/feedback from affiliates and global colleagues
You develop supportive technical documentation of economic models and statistical analyses
You interpret and communicate the findings of these analyses
You work closely with affiliates to incorporate global statistical and health economics input Into their local reimbursement applications
You keep up to date with the changing HTA landscape and academic research in health economics and statistics to ensure that current access trends and methodologies are incorporated into evidentiary plans and strategies
You build and foster relationships with relevant external health economic, statistics, HTA, and policy experts
You actively contribute to the development of methodologies and continuous improvement within the Evidence Chapter
You have a Master's or Doctoral-level degree in health economics, epidemiology, statistics or a related field with a quantitative focus
You are proficient in MS Excel (with VBA) and R. Experience with SAS, Python, WinBUGS, JAGS or other relevant statistical software is a plus.
You are skilled in research design and statistical methods, e.g., survival analysis, network meta-analysis
You have in-depth knowledge of health technology assessment, clinical research and development methods, and international payer evidence requirements
You should have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working in a consultancy, academic institution, HTA / reimbursement agency or pharmaceutical industry (affiliate experience is a plus)
You bring strong organization, planning and prioritization skills with an ability to meet tight deadlines
You demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in English
It is not required but it would be beneficial if you had a track record of research publications and other research outputs of high quality and previous experience working with evidence to support HTA and market access decision-making
The Position
The Global Access (GA) department at F. Hoffmann-La Roche, Ltd. based in Basel, Switzerland is seeking a Global Access Evidence Lead to join our Global HTA Evidence Chapter.

Job Mission
As a Global Access Evidence Lead, you work with colleagues across Roche to develop the HTA Evidence strategies and packages used by payers supporting Health Technology Assessments (HTA) which define access to Roche’s innovative offerings. You support both the pre-launch and launch stages of the reimbursement process. You collaborate with professionals across the organization to provide expertise required for the preparation of evidentiary plans and their application within HTA / reimbursement dossiers as well as more broadly to implement access and commercialization strategies.
You help internal and external initiatives that contribute to our business and healthcare environments including the application of novel methodologies used to support HTA decision-making. This requires a good understanding of integrated access strategies, integrated evidence plans, healthcare environments, affiliate pricing & reimbursement needs, as well as deep scientific and technical expertise. You need strong strategic, collaboration and communication skills, as well as a dedicated and entrepreneurial attitude.
