      GLOBAL ACCOUNT DIRECTOR (San Francisco, CA)

      Job Summary

      The Global Account Director is responsible for sales growth and customer acquisition within a defined portfolio of Global Accounts, based in the geographical business region. This role serves as the primary contact for Interface's large, global clients and involves developing and implementing strategies to secure and optimize sales across each account's geographic area.

      Job Duties

      1. Develop and execute account-based plans, managing a portfolio of 10-20 high-potential accounts to achieve growth and business goals.
      2. Act as the ‘Global Lead' on selected accounts, overseeing account planning and execution across multiple regions.
      3. Lead strategy, preparation, and submission of major bids and RFPs within the portfolio, supporting local sales efforts.
      4. Collaborate with sales management and the local Account Executive team to maximize business success.
      5. Work across the company to deliver a consistent value proposition to Global and Strategic Accounts.
      6. Promote the company's sustainability agenda within the account portfolio, working with client management and internal resources.
      7. Provide insights and market information to senior management and key partners regarding global and strategic clients.
      8. Analyze competitive activity, market share, and performance within the portfolio for leadership.
      9. Contribute to global customer and business information systems, ensuring alignment with business needs.
      10. Maintain the company's profile with key stakeholders, including industry bodies and influencers.
      11. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and employment policies.
      12. Prepare and deliver technical presentations to current and prospective customers.
      13. Create sales or service contracts and collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs.
      14. Apply knowledge of products, equipment, and systems related to tufting machines, flooring products, and building specifications.
      15. Read and interpret architectural drawings for take-offs.
      16. Remote work up to 50% is permitted.

      Salary & Location

      Salary ranges from $143,832 to $200,000 per year. Location: San Francisco, CA.

      Minimum Requirements

      Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, plus 4 years of experience in the commercial flooring, textiles, design, or furniture industry, with proven success in client acquisition and account development across multiple regions. Additional experience in strategic planning, procurement practices, and collaborative work is required. Domestic travel up to 40% and up to 50% telecommuting are allowed.
