      As a Global Category Manager - Motors & Drives, you will lead and develop the Dr i v e s Cate g o ry ( m oto r s, VFDs, & g ene rato r s) strate gy & i m p l e m e n t r e l a t e d s upp l y c h a i n i n i t i a t i v e s g l o b a l l y. You will S erve as t h e C ate g o ry s u bject matter ex per t” & bu i ld a c o m m unity of c ategory lea d e rs to ex e c u te strategy. Also, mana ge & sha pe s upp l y base to c reate a favourable a d v a n ta ge f o r Cha rt I n d u s tr i e s op e r a t i ng c o m p a n i e s

      • De fine c a t egory strategy & gain bu y - in f r om k ey sta k eholders for spec i fic initiatives to ex e c u te str ategy.
      • Dr ive collaborati on & b e st practice s har i ng a m ong c a te gory r e p r e s ent atives in Reg ions & Business U nit s.
      • Contin u ously bui ld & m ain tain f u n nel of s a v ings initi ati ves a nd achie ve verified savings ta r g ets.
      • Lead s upp l ier managem ent thr ough d e p l o y m e nt of s u p plier tier i n g.
      • Sup po rt new s u p p lie r/p rod u ct qu ali ficati ons & i m ple m ent meas u r es to m inimize qu alit y, O TD, & c o st risk.
      • Ident i fy & le ad identif i c ation & e x e c u tion of V AVE o pportunit ies with suppliers.
      • Ident i fy & minimize s upp ly c hain r i s ks f or categor y.
      • Co lla b o r ate with low-c o st c ountry s ourcing hubs a nd identify low c o st cou ntry supplie rs th at c an im p r ove c o st w h ile m aintaining h igh-le v els of qu a lity a nd d e live r y.
      • Serve as a s ubj e ct matter ex pert and advise s takeholders on a ll a s pec ts of Drives includ ing supplier c a pabilit ies, ec o n o m ic f o r e c a sting and tr ends, su p p ly m a r ket c hange s, global c u r r ency flu c tua t ions, S h o uld Co st’ m odel etc.
      • De v elop a nd m ainta in s t r ong relatio n s h i ps with k ey sup pli e rs and pa rtn e rs.
      • Imple ment Lon g - T e rm Agr eem e nts with S upp l iers that de fine f air sharing of risk and a ccou ntab i lit y.
      • For high va lue contrac ts lead s u p p lier n egotia t i on on pr i cing, pay ment te r m s, deli v e ry ter m s, quality tar gets, and wa rr anties
      • De v elop a nd m anage c o m munication plan, to i n clude enga ge m ent a cti v i t y, disse mination of sourcing s t r ategy a nd c o m pliance f or Driv es a m ong the Cate g ory Co mmunities
      • Liaise with S a les to ens u re that we h a ve the best-fit supplie rs to satisfy V oice of t he Custom e r
