Job Description Summary:
Part of HPE's Global Logistics Sourcing team, Logistics Partner Manager is responsible for driving strategic relationship management and innovation ideation with our key logistics partners. Leveraging know-how logistics and consulting, emphasis is on strategy, supplier development, business relationships, strategic negotiations and stakeholder alignment. Develops HPE Logistics Partner strategy and influences cross-functional teams internally and externally to create differentiated value with our logistics partners.Responsibilities:
• Leads Strategic Relationship Management with assigned Logistics Partners.
• Creates HPE Logistics' Supplier Segmentation Strategy, Partner Road-map with thought leadership and strategic ideation
Consultatively engages multiple stakeholders internally and externally to run Ideation workshops, Value-Stream Mapping exercises to fruition idea to concept stage
Setups regular cadence with Executive Sponsors, Account Managers and Procurement Director for strategic relationship management
Hosts Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) - with a clear vision, purpose of EBRs and driving strategic value through EBR engagements
• Builds strategic relationships and actively partners with multiple internal and external stakeholders and/or suppliers at the VP and SVP level on a regular basis.
Supports Sourcing team on socialization of RFI/ RFQ/ postRFQ discussions with LSPs
Supports Contracts team and other Global Operations teams on critical P1 escalations
• Influences Business Process & Solution, IT, Planning teams and other external stakeholders (ODMs, Material Planners, etc) to drive Logistics Sourcing agenda via focused Partner Management program
Runs LSP Survey and drives improvement of Net Promoter Score of LSP partnerships
Manages LSP awards and recognitions, Supplier Summits
• Collaborates with peers as a team-player in multi-modal, cross-region synergies.
• Curious learner, ability to commit and lead, pushes for better!
Education and Experience Required:
• First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
• Typically 12-15 years of experience in logistics or supply chain or related function.
• Deep experience in Consulting, Strategic Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management and Business Process & Strategy alignment.
• Proven performer in 3PL Contract Logistics Strategy or Logistics Procurement/ Supplier Strategy
Knowledge and Skills:
• Knowledge of logistics market place with prior experience in Consulting domain
• Experience running strategic ideation workshops and managing relationships
• Loves to host events, meet people and engage C-level stakeholders
• Strong lead with ability to work in ambiguous environments
• Ability to multi-task and navigate between strategic & hands-on work effectively.
• Ability to close complex discussions in a timely fashion.
• Reasonable flexibility to work across global time-zone.
