What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Negotiate carrier and courier rates
- Track shipments to and from Mayo Clinic Laboratories (MCL)
- Resolve international shipments, including customs clearance
- Design and test shipping containers and methods
- Monitor expenses, audits, vendor invoices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or GED
- Four years of transportation-related experience
- Skilled in systems analysis, planning, and negotiating
- Experience with couriers, databases, and logistics systems
- Human relations, customer service, and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related discipline with two years of transportation-related experience
- Five years of prior experience in business, customer service, human relations, and/or accounting
