      Reporting directly to Retail Midwest Security Director, the Consumer Bank VP Regional Security Manager will drive execution of security strategies that will improve operational effectiveness and ensure the safety of Chase employees and customers within the Consumer Bank Midwest region. These initiatives will help ensure that Chase has the appropriate security controls in the branch environment regarding physical security, technical security, and threat management. The ideal Consumer Bank VP Regional Security Manager is someone who has the knowledge and expertise in managing a large physical security program. We are looking for someone who is passionate about security and can drive programs that will achieve both the business and security program objectives.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Supervise the assigned territory which includes overseeing a junior specialist.
      • Manage guard force in territory of assignment.
      • Handling safety and security issues stemming from incident reports
      • Ensure Divisional leadership is engaged around critical topics and supported by relevant data and reporting
      • Support the installation of security systems for existing and new-build properties.
      • Conduct periodic security and personal safety training.
      • Liaison with law enforcement agencies
      • Coordinate protective plans and response with LOB management to mitigate known civil disturbances, protests, etc. that have proximity to or target company locations and personnel.
      • Assist in developing and coordinating physical security operations with Consumer Bank Midwest Regional Management team (i.e., Regional Support Leads and Operating Model Leads).
      • Partner with key security program members, decision makers, and stakeholders and being able to effectively communicate the needs and status of the security program.
      • Ensure security surveys are conducted in accordance with Retail Security standards.
      • Assist with the selection of appropriate security metrics to measure the success of the security program and highlight trends or themes from raw data.
      • On call outside regular working hours – Must possess cellular phone with capability to support JPMC sponsored software.
      • Regional travel is required

      Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills

      • Bachelor’s degree in related field with 6+ years relevant physical security experience
      • Hands on experience in performing risk analysis, identifying vulnerabilities, conducting threat modelling, and performing security reviews
      • Knowledge of physical security technology systems
      • Strong familiarity with Real Estate related Physical Security issues
      • High degree of comfort in fast-paced dynamic / ambiguous environment operating with initiative from the tactical to the strategic level
      • Effective communication; able to communicate succinctly both in writing and in speech
      • Experience with contributing to the creation of reports, dashboards, and presentations
      • Experience in information gathering, tracking, and consolidation
      • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; high emotional intelligence
      • Self-starter and motivated, able to operate with limited supervision
      • Attention to detail and delivery oriented, able to effectively plan and track to prescribed timeline; excellent follow-through
      • Flexible and comfortable working with multiple competing timelines/tasks
      • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, able to work with multiple teams
      • Project Management
      • Proficiency with MS Office suite
