      FinCrime Management Information and Reporting, Global Managed Services
      Managed Services is a critical component of the EY Vision 2020+ strategy and a new area of growth for the firm. GMS is already a $4.5 Billion business (FY19), a target of $5 Billion in FY20 and has plans to grow in excess of $10 Billion over the next few years. In order to meet this strategic objective we are undertaking a change in our operating model to enable our Areas (Americas, EMEIA, APAC) to have the right team in place for Managed Services pursuits.

      We are looking for a Management Information and Reporting Lead. As Management Information and Reporting Lead, you will play an integral part in designing holistic client solutions, which provides long term value to the client leveraging people, process and technology, with particular focus MI solutions, capacity management, governance and reporting. The solutions we propose to our clients must include a compelling business case for the client but at the same time being profitable proposition for EY, while keeping any potential delivery and reputational risk at a minimum.

      You will report to the FinCrime Solutions and Transitions Director and / or the area GTM Leader for Managed Services and will work closely with other significant global stakeholders and global delivery and enablement teams.


      Your key responsibilities

      • This position is responsible for the end-to-end Solution Design from a people, process and technology perspective, with particular focus on determining operational capacity requirements, operational metrics and service levels, governance and reporting
      • The role will be responsible to respond to RFP’s by putting together EY response outlining in detail EY solution, value delivered and differentiating factors with respect to competition.
      • Defining management information (MI) components of the solution, governance, and operational measures / SLAs
      • Define, roll out and maintain the Operational metrics book to ensure operational safety and soundness. The framework will include the definition and measures of performance levels in the engagement
      • Develop capacity plans for the proposal and manage those capacity plans during transition
      • Facilitate governance forums across the global FC Delivery centers to align on processes flows and the controls framework
      • Ensure all EY Frameworks and operational best practices (GSOM) are leveraged while designing the solution.

      Skills and attributes for success

      • Take on leadership role in driving the development of the Global/Managed Services business contributing to growing headcount and revenues
      • Detailed understanding of complex service delivery in a Managed Services environment
      • Confidence and experience to lead a “first of a kind deal” arrangement and establish new delivery capabilities where needed
      • Develop ecosystem of great internal and external relationships with stakeholders across levels
      • Strength to withstand significant personal pressure and overtime at times to address role
      • Strong networking and influencing skills
      • Highly credible communicator with excellent organisation and project management skills

      To qualify for the role, you must have

      • Master’s degree with a specialisation in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Business Engineering or a related financial field preferred
      • Super user skills in report writing applications (eg Business Objects). SQL a plus
      • Excellent in Microsoft Excel and Access, including macro and dB management
      • Strong analytic skills
      • Strong Financial Crime Compliance industry/functional expertise in sales and delivery of operations (15+ years) within Managed Services
      • Specific experience of preparing go to market strategy and working on client pursuits and responding to RFP’s (Request for Proposal) with a focus Financial Crime Compliance.
      • Ability to build and nurture relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders
      • Ability to pull together and lead a project team and excellent time management skills
      • Appreciation and passion for design-thinking, critical problem solving and a curiosity for understanding the latest in business + technology
      • Ability to marry quantitative and qualitative analysis into meaningful storyboards and insights
      • Understanding and some experience in business application of next-generation technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), RPA, Intelligent Process Automation (IPA), Advanced Analytics
      • An understanding of conceptual architectures for emerging technologies, cloud technologies and platforms (Google, AWS, Azure)
      • An understanding of Service Management, Tech Ops, Data Ops functions and UAT capabilities
      • Structured verbal and written communication skills, strong facilitation and presentation skills
      • Be proficient in assessing options (e.g. risk, performance and cost-benefit) and informing decision-makers with persuasive visualizations based upon assessment outputs
      • Strong stakeholder and project management skills
      • Strong skills in creating and maintaining project and program plans, including risks, actions, issues, dependencies
      • Can coordinate / collaborate with teams & stakeholders in multiple geographies
      • Manage Matrix teams with participants in multiple geographies
      • Flexible to travel as required


      Ideally, you’ll also have

      • You may have any of these certifications: ACAMS, ICA, TOGAF, CSM, SAFe, PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL
      • You will have core understanding of consulting/big four and their go-to-market propositions
