Experience working with risk management frameworks.
Proven experience working in the Financial Services industry
Relationship/stakeholder management skills, including being comfortable challenging others with pragmatism, energy, enthusiasm, and resilience.
Self-starter and disciplined with proactive planning and organisational skills and the agility to multitask and meet deadlines.
Customer centric mindset
Salary circa £48,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.

Governance & Assurance Business Partner– Salary circa £48,000
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and self-starting individual to join our IWR (Insurance, Wealth and Retirement) Governance & Assurance (G&A) Business Partnering team. If you are ready to play a key role in our wider G&A Shared Services team and help us support IWR to execute their strategy, safely and at pace, we would love to hear from you!
A bit about the job:
You will provide proactive and holistic risk and control challenge, guidance, and support to the IWR business, helping to secure good customer outcomes, protect the reputation of the business and helping it grow safely. You will provide risk support and work collaboratively across the wider G&A team on activities to drive improved risk management
You will be an individual contributor using knowledge of risk management tools, systems and processes and an understanding of how Governance services the business. You will take a lead role in supporting the team with their risk management practices and supporting them to identify threats to their control environment. The role holder will also provide SME support on matters of risk and controls using their understanding of the wider regulatory environment.
You will use your knowledge to recommend changes in processes and systems, and support more senior professionals in developing appropriate solutions for the business.
